SSAA Goulburn Branch
Combined Services Discipline Events 2019

Due to heavy restrictions placed on Goulburn Rifle Range in October 2018 many of the CSD approved military rifles cannot presently be used on the range. The 2 classes which may be used currently are:
  • Class E: Muzzle loading single shot and non-cartridge breech loading rifles (Antique Military Rifles).
  • Class TR: Training Rifles. Class TR rifles to include, but not limited to, .22 Training Rifles and .310 Martini Cadet provided documentary evidence supports the rifles’ eligibility.
The only exception to these restrictions are black powder cartridge rifles from Class D which are used with ammunition loaded to period specs with lead bullets below 1500fps. These include such cartridges as 577/450, 44-40 and 45-70 and the rifles to which they are chambered e.g. Martini Henrys, Henry Model '62, Winchester Model '73 & '92, Sharps 1874 and Marlin 1895.

As a result all CSD matches for 2019 have been scheduled as Cadet & Trainer Matches with seperate scoring for other classes when they compete at these events.
